This event was huge in the eyes of the counterculture movement. So much music and art came from this that it was unbelievable. It is possible that, without this event, the counterculture would not be the same as it turned out to be almost fifty years later.

 The main idea of this work is to inform on the actions that led up to and occurred during the Kent State shooting. The author's purpose was to inform the public all of these years later on how much is still unknown. The author uses very good language that paints a picture in your mind. The language is so vivid you could picture it in your head as if you were there that day.
